Extending the £2 bus fare cap

Following the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdowns when people were really feeling the cost of living, the Government introduced a £2 bus fare cap across the country.

We know that with war in Europe and the impact of Covid-19 and lockdowns, times have been tough.

This is why I am pleased that the Government is supporting thousands of people across Bolton West with the second cost of living payment of £300.

So much horror yet to come in Middle East

The horror of war has stalked a corner of Europe for five hundred days and counting.  We have seen the bloodshed and the cruelty and our hearts bleed for those suffering in Ukraine.

If this was not enough, war has returned to the Holy Land to multiply the grim toll of lives taken.
