Now that we are getting close to the 2015 General Election, there will be a series of debates organised by local organisation that will give each of the Bolton West parliamentary candidates an opportunity to set out their views on a whole range of subjects.
Bolton School invited the candidates to speak at a debate and then answer questions from the audience. The debate was taken with good humour and covered a huge range of topics from votes at sixteen, the recovering economy, a referendum on the EU and elements of the Ugandan legal system.
Bob Horsefield represented UKIP, Andrew Martin for the Lib Dems and Labour’s Julie Hilling MP was represented by Cllr Christopher Peacock. My Bolton News profile can be found here.
There will be many more debates across the constituency and it is a great way to get to know who Bolton West will be sending to Westminster.
