Having invited the Secretary of State to Horwich to secure £12m for the Loco Works spine road, it is good to see even more progress being made.

When Bolton Council approved the development of Bluebell Walk in Westhoughton, it was on the condition that a road between Platt Lane and Chequerbent roundabout would be built and opened before residents moved into their new houses.

 

The Football Governance Bill

Bolton Wanderers are a fantastic club, with a proud history and are at the beating heart of the community. In 2019 the club found itself in major difficulties and was threatened with liquidation.

Whilst I am delighted to have secured funding for the new lift at Daisy Hill Railway Station, I am surprised, as are many local residents, at the impact this will have whilst the work is ongoing.
